The storage and analytics used by this version of AImpress.

1. Cookies and Browser Storage

Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with web requests. Local storage and session storage retain information in your browser. AImpress uses these technologies for sign-in, security, drafts, and interface preferences.

2. Authentication and Billing

Clerk handles sign-in and session security. Stripe handles payment and billing pages. Their services may set cookies for authentication, security, fraud prevention, and payment processing. Cookie names and lifetimes can change with their configuration.

3. Drafts and Preferences

AImpress stores draft recovery data, compose preferences, theme choices, and dismissed onboarding notices in your browser. These values can remain until you clear site storage. Clearing them may remove locally saved drafts and reset your preferences.

4. Product Analytics

When configured, PostHog receives deliberate product events from the signed-in dashboard and server, including publishing and billing outcomes. Browser and server events use your internal account identifier. We configure browser analytics with in-memory persistence, automatic click capture disabled, and session recording disabled. Page URL query parameters are excluded.

The dashboard analytics provider does not load on our public marketing or shared-post pages. This version does not integrate Google Analytics, Meta advertising pixels, or LinkedIn advertising pixels. See the PostHog privacy policy.

5. Your Controls

You can inspect, clear, or block site cookies and storage through your browser settings. Blocking authentication storage may prevent sign-in. This version does not provide a cookie consent banner or a separate cookie-settings control. Clearing browser storage does not delete account records or server-side events.
